Set within 17 acres of English countryside, Woodland House reimagines the country home through Banda’s lens of craftsmanship, proportion, and comfort. Conceived as a retreat for a family, the residence blends classical architecture with a contemporary sensibility, formal rooms defined by texture and tone, balanced by open, light-filled spaces for everyday life.
Banda’s bespoke joinery and furniture are central to the design, from the ash oak kitchen and fluted travertine fireplace to the pippy oak bedside tables and custom marble detailing. Natural materials – limestone, mohair, bouclé, and wool – bring depth and warmth throughout, shaping a home that feels layered, grounded, and entirely lived in.
